Good and timely (for me at least) information on e-book formatting. I appreciate all you shared and concur. After messing with a number of things and programs, I found using the website building software DreamWeaver (which I already owned) to be extremely beneficial in getting the css and HTML coding done correctly.

Thanks, Shane. I think I’m going to stick it out until I hear from WotF about the other story. Shouldn’t be too much longer now. I’ll make a game time decision at that point, using Duotrope to estimate how much longer I would have to wait

I read this post. My first recommendation is that you should write shorter stuff (but I’m not published professionally, so why listen to me?). I don’t know the answer. Evidently, you write well, otherwise you wouldn’t have been a finalist in the WOTF contest. If you write shorter stuff, you have more inventory, more submissions, more chance of being accepted. Every once in a while, you get enthused about something and submit it to a professional market. That’s my free advice (“which is worth exactly what you paid for it” said a famous science fiction author).
